Give It Away!


Today’s consumer likes to get something for free before they commit to any relationship. If you are a self-published author, that means posting excerpts from your book. Or you might give unpublished articles away for free to be downloaded when people register on your website.
For the small business that sells products on their website, offer a free e-mail newsletter or report on your home page. For example, the real estate agent could offer a free article such as: “What Are the Ten Biggest Mistakes Home Buyers Make?”
What can you offer people for free that they would find valuable? What is it that your customer would want to know that relates to you getting more sales or that job you’ve been wanting?
Fill in the end of the headline and you’re making the first step to giving something away for free. It’s how to build relationships that get sales. You’ve got to give to get in this consumer driven world.

You get the idea. Have fun with this. Come up with your own article and post it to your website. Don’t have a website – blog it in your community paper, your favorite internet communities and get it out there. The energy will be rewarding.
